It wont be updated until another competition started. Should be one starting up around Christmas, its pretty anual. Though if they want, I dont have a problem with them postponing the Christmas concert, till MMF2 comes out (atleast if it will actually be released around Christmas!), so that can be one of the prizes.
The last one was run perfectly well on the newspages and forum, so I'm in favour of just removing the Competition link since it would be outdated most of the time even if it was updated for compos.
The main reason for that may be that KA is so dead.
It's a pity, because KA is such a great site. But compo's are compo's no matter what site they're on.
The only competition I ever went for was last years crimbo compo, but I gave up because you had to have 10 levels and I gave up after making 1 and a half. I made a solid start of it though.
Can this years one be a little more lenient?
I'd like to see something that limits us but allows us to push the boundries rather than an entire topic of us moaning about rules, like an 8 colour limit with 320x240 screen, rather than 'has to be a mario clone with 10 levels'.
"A" and "lot" are two separate words, "your" is used to indicate association while "you're" is a contraction of "you are", and apostrophes aren't used to pluralise anything.
(This isn't directed at anyone in particular or relevant to the thread, but I felt I had to say it.)
I'd actually forgotten that TDC used to resemble the style on the Competition page. Perhaps if it was only activated when a competition was on.
