Apparently it was a scrolling KNP platformer? Using google, I found a Vitalized version hosted by Fizzual, that guy that used to go by Biebersoft. http://fizzual.com/ww/vitalize/mrmalibus.shtml

alanmenot, sorry, but this has to be said:
Shut the hell up.
I've got the proper version of Mr Malibus, plus the unreleased and unfinished Malibus 2 (and Malibus Ex). Sadly, Malibus, while great, always crashes for me on the fourth stage: the cave level. Anyone else get this problem?

Malibu is a kind of coconut rum. It's fucking awful unless you drink it with ice tea, even then it's apalling.

Mr. Malibus is a klik platformer made by zelix and is considered awesome in its era. I remembered loving it.

I get the same problem, Circy. I remember playing it ages ago...advanced for a Klik game, but the characters look like Kirby rip-offs.
Fine Garbage since 2003.

Hey, that's not a bad game. Wonder what 2 would have been like.

Malibus 2 used the Baastian De Jong platform movement. It was ok - very slow paced. Malibus had weapons such as fists and swords. Malibus Ex had parallax effects using active objects and the sprites were made by Podunkian.
