Yeah, there're some japanese and korean companies that make realdoll-sorta things that actually don't look like they have fetal alcohol syndrome. Those'd be your best bet if you were the last penis on earth.
I wouldn't, I klik because it’s a great way for me to get my idea's out and share them with other people. Another reason I klik is because I love receiving feedback about hard work of mine, good or bad. I think out of all reasons though, my main reason is the fact that I thrive on watching (or hearing about) others enjoying my hard work, then afterwards, telling me what they did or didn’t like.
In the end, I design for the joy of other's reaction, not for profit (even though I don’t get any) or the fun of simply designing.
Anyone else the same way?
I'd probably do it more without people insulting everything I do. I'll not mention names of specific people, Phizzy, but some people are just ruin your motivation sometimes.
@Kenton: People like Phizzy are the kind of people that you learn to ignore unless you can tell they are making an honest effort to be serious. Other then that, I can't really think of anyone else who has insulted any kind of game without good reason. Sometimes people, especially n00bs, fine harsh (but constructive) criticism, insulting or flaming, and instantly get pissed at them. This was my biggest mistake when I first started kliking, around 3-4 years ago.
As my drama teacher always says, always be constructive with your criticism. Not "this stinks, you're a retard", you need to say something like "It's pretty cool, but you should probably work on those graphics". If we all did that TDC would probably have much better games. I know just about everything i've submitted so far is pointless, but i'd probably be making a lot of good stuff if the responses I got weren't always "This stinks, you stink, why'd you submit this?".
im too lazy to read if anyone already pointed this out. butttt...RADIX...what the hell would you do in the girls bathroom....you're alone on the planet.
I on the other hand would spend hours out in the sun sleeping. =P
I certainly would. I klik just so I could make games that I couldn't find on the market. And since I've never actually found them 'complete' enough to release, I've been practically kliking alone for most of my life. So far, feedback has actually made my games WORSE, showing off has made people point out glaring mistakes in the screenshots which actually seem to look nice within the games themselves.
So... yeah. Might even be a better kliker, kinda like back in the 'good ol days'.
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
I don't know if I'd do much at all if I was alone on the planet. I can't actually comprehend that, because it's a different lifestyle. As is, our entire way of thinking is based on a world of social interactions.
