PC:
Master of Orion 2 (you all knew that already though)
Star Trek: Bridge Commander
Mechwarrior 2 - Mechwarrior 4
Mechcommander 1 & 2
System Shock 2 (Best FPS IMO)
Console:
Spider-Man 2 (I actually thought about a spiderman game like this while playing the first GTA3, was so damned happy when someone actually did it)
Front Mission 4 (I love this game, I just wish my damned (3rd)PS2 worked.
Timesplitters 1 + 2 (3 was cool, but the breakneck speed and difficulty were gone, which is what I loved)
Luigi's Mansion (Ghostbusters baby!)
There's probably some more, but I can't think of them right now.
After looking at Hayo's list I'm glad that someone else here besides me has played SoM3.
My favorite song in a game is Celes's theme from Final Fantasy 6. It's quite possibly the most emotionally resounding piece of music ever written for a videogame.
I don't normally like FPS games, but the Age of Empires series kept me interested. Somehow they give the impression that you're actually building something rather than just gathering heaps of resources and spending them on as many units as possible (like in Command and Conquer, in which the winner is decided largely by how many Medium Tanks each side has).
