Why hasn't Google gotten rid of the whole Invite system yet? It seems like everyone with Gmail accounts have too many invites.

Apparently it limits spammer's access, though I'm not sure how. It also gives Gmail a false air of exclusivity, which I'd suspect is probably the main reason.

It's actually very easy to use and has a good spam filter, with almost infinite space too. Apart from that it's just another mail account to send porn to.

Yahoo is enough for me.
I doesn't allow the free users to use the Yahoo address in any other program than their online thingy, but the online thingy isn't too bad anyway, and the spamfilter's good, and I have more than enough email space with 1 GB.
Also, don't wanna switch anymore, everyone knows my address as this one now anyway.
