Batman begins had a very realistic story, not one of those fantasy ones such as batman saving the day from TVs that hypnotise you. The new batman movie really brought it up from gay to brilliant.

The only problem with batman begins that I had was with the over-long fight scenes. Otherwise it was brill. That and Bataman Returns (odd, considering my distaste for Burton) are my favourite live-action Batman films

I didn't mind the length of the fights, but I hate that shaky cam/short cuts style.

I hate when they use that shaky / handheld camera crap for simple things like aspirin commercials. You bet we're all gonna' need aspirins after watching your awful commercials.

I tend to end up liking burton's films, I just don't like his god-like status. He has a good eye for design, but he doesn't seem to be able to create films with any substance.

It is good IMO. It expands the ideas of X Men 1 with a slightly more interesting plot (though I prefer the first one, 'cos it was tighter).

** BIG TIME SPOILERS!!! **
X-Men 2 was the best of the 3. I can say that now because I just saw X3 last night. Here's what I think about it:
Why give such a crappy off-screen death to Cyclops? What the hell was that? And they killed off Professor Mutha-f*ckin' X??? What are you kiddin' me? If not for the final 2 minutes of the movie I'd have thought that this was indeed the final X-Men movie.
Magneto is the best villian by far, but the others were just kind of pointless. Pyro is basically the same cocky kid from X2, only 10x worse. The neo-punk generic mutants were all pointless (and definetly fillers!). Think of them as the battle droids from the Phantom Menace. Just there.
Oh, and why give a whole beginning scene to the friggin' hawk man or whatever he is when he's got what, 4 spoken lines in the entire movie? Come to think of it, I don'think he even interacted with the other X-Men at all! They kill off Cyclops, but bring THIS guy in? What gives?
Wolverine is still the man, but you're right they made him way cheesier in parts. "Way to go, furball.." My God, and that's the ending line too.
Maybe if they spent more budget on a better story and less on flying exploding cars it would've been better. It was still enjoyable, but X2 is far superior in my opinion.

Xavier didn't die. He transferred his mind before his death to a braindead patient. It's shown after the credits, unfortunately I didn't know, so I left before that.
I usually don't like super hero movies, but the X-men films are an exception.
What I really hated was that they made Mystique human To quote magneto "Such a shame. She was so beautiful."

Oh no way, Rebecca Romajin has never looked better than with the dark hair- and being naked sorta' helps too. I'll bet ol' John Stamos was cryin' in his popcorn when he saw that scene.
@Phizzy: Yeah, the movie Cyclops wasn't the best but they should have used him in more than like 5 minutes is all I mean.
