Hey everyone . I am always on the lookout for new extension ideas (I have quite a few in the works) but anyway if you have any extension ideas that you would like me to perhaps make , then make them known in this thread. Perhaps yours will be the one that I pick .
Please note that any future extension I make will be for MMF 2 (Otherwise I have to port it and that is messy and besides, why do twice the work?).
To improve your chances:
A) Be clear with your idea! Explain how it works and if you could provide a design of the extension then that would be very helpful.
B) If you can provide a c++ library if applicable.
C) Suggest extensions that are "possible" to make Please don't ask for an extension that automatically creates a high quality FPS game for you or something!
Extensions can be in any category (Window control, Graphics, Math based, ect) but they must be innovative and original. Credit will be given if your idea is used, thanks!
How about an object that'd let us interface with MySQL databases directly from MMF? Not many really know how to use PHP/MySQL/MooSock anyways.
It'd be an easy way of making online hiscore boards and such.
It's not as if I go there every day, but I saw on the GameMaker forums or something, that they have an extension of some sorts that lets them do this. Hell, if they can do it...
