Definitely didn't give any permission to them. Has this happened to anyone else on this site with their games? Also, I'm wondering if anyone could possibly translate what they're saying on that 2nd page, as I don't even know what language it is.
Uh. Right. These sites appear to be Portugese and Czech respectively, hence your "weird site" comments. They are community sites and its considered a privilege to get them featured on there.
Loads of my games have appeared on websites and stuff without my permission, but you shouldn't really care as you can't really stop them from effectively reviewing the game. Besides, it's publicity
Indeed, once you get into one magazine; it's like a domino effect. When that damnedable Combo Block Bomber got into one magazine in Czech; it started appearing all over in magazines from that part of the world.
The Czechs seem to be very into Click games at the moment. It's great publicity, with the only disadvantage that I can't actually read any of the reviews I get. If you want to try a translator, there's one at http://www.translation-guide.com/free_online_translators.php?from=English&to=Czech , which at least turns it into semi-penetrable gibberish.
And I think it's a bit... short-sighted to dismiss "foreign" as "weird".
A really only Sonic fangame I made years ago got onto a Sonic fansite. Found it when I googled my name out of bordom. Results were pretty interesting. (Found that picture Phizzy made for me a while back, on his website.)
Well they seemed weird because they seemed like those scummy "FREE GAMES GAMES GAMES!" sites you find around, and I couldn't tell because I don't know what they say. . . Anyway, I don't really mind it being posted around, but the first one (maybe the second one too I can't tell) linked to my crappy geocities upload. . . so it was constantly down. Oh well. . .
