Alright, i can't post any of my work ATM, but i can tell you about it.
I'm close to demo. Very close.
I need someone to help me with saving, the status system, and the battle system. I'm working on the battle engine with some failed results - i'll tell you it's real time, which i can't figure out how to do because MMF is kinda limited on certain aspects. Also, because i couldn't get help earlier, the graphics are currently ripped off of an old SNES game called Lufia - i tried to comply with original graphics, but you people won't help.
I need a spritist. I need a background artist. I need someone good with engines.
And damnit, i'm not a newbie. This may be my first time but my work is currently alot better than most of the crap i've seen on here. I'm not joking around anymore, i need some damned help.

Ugh, i didn't want to get to the point where i talk about money, because that's all people here want when work is involved. This game is going to be sold - if i can get original graphics. Therefore meaning i can pay you for some work later. Trust me, i won't con you or forget what work you did or what pay you wanted. If i get a spritist or a background artist, you will be compensated at the end of the project. And if you aren't paid, just sue me. MORE MOENYS 4 j00! >_> Seriously. 3 posts in a row, on the same day... (ignoring the double post, if it was an accident). No one is going to care to reply if you're going to do that. How can you live with AOL if you can't wait at least a day for a reply? You need to give people a chance to reply, even if that means waiting an entire day, not just a few impatient minutes.
I see people on later than i am. i looked back at this post after an hour and saw 10 more reads of the topic, but no posts.
That's why i keep talking so quickly. Because if you're awake to read it, why would you not reply? I'm pretty sure over half the people here know how to do graphics, which gives a pretty good chance that one of the people who read this could have replied to help me out.
But fine, i'll stop posting so much. I do get a little edgy when every person here acts like i'm not worth the time.

Look, if you think your work is so great that i'm not worthy of it, you'd better damn well prove it. When you can prove to me that you are better than any spritist or music artist on TDC i will admit i'm not worth your time. But unless you do that you're not going to get any damned respect from me. Therefore, phizzy, either help me or go away.
I hate people here sometimes. You act like your work is godly and if a person you've never met before appears they're automatically the epitome of n00bishness. Just because someone isn't familiar to you doesn't mean they're worse than you are at making games. It just means they're unfamiliar to you, specifically. If you don't know someone then you can at least try to get to know them.
I'm no exception. I suck at making games, really. I can't do engines, graphics, or music. I need someone else to do those for me. And you can guess the people that show up every damn time i look for people to help me out - people like phizzy.
Now, i'd like to tell phizzy off. I'd love to call him a F*ck mongering wh*re. But i won't, because i know what the word self restraint is. I know that if i insult someone they're not going to take kindly to it. I also know that it's nice to at least stay on topic.
To get to the point, I NEED HELP WITH THIS. I want a game to be completed and with everyone thinking the same idiotic way phizzy does i can't finish it. I can't seem to fathom how you can automatically discriminate against me by saying i'm not worth your time. If i'm not worth your time then what the hell is? If you have ANY time to work on a game you've definitely got the time to help me out, and no one has!
However. I have found two people who offered to help me. Two people, out of the five i needed. They're doing music for me. If i could give you a demo right now i would but it's NOT DONE due to lack of a battle engine, lack of graphics and lack of gameplay... and i haven't found anyone else to help me. So come on. Really. Am i that worthless to you that you won't contribute a few sprites or backgrounds to me? (that's a retorical question)
That's all i really have to say. If you won't help, go away. I don't have time for people who look down on me and act like i'm worthless.
