I bought it a while back but havent' had time to get round to it. What is new? Especially in the updates they've released since it's come out. Most of the cool stuff in MMF was added later(Platform object, faux-parallaxing etc.).

You bought it but haven't had time to get round to it?? You really should do some research. I'd start with:

I love how people can go out and blow $130+ and not even really know what they're buying. And here my parents are always bitching when gas prices are raising. Took me for ever to get the WarChiefs expansion pack when I asked.

I don't have MMF2 either, but i've read a book called "Make Amazing Games in Minutes" by Jason Darby that included an example CD of games made with MMF2. Suffice to say, it looks much more powerful than MMF. One of the biggest changes is the addition of layers in a frame (no more using the Background System Box for paralax scrolling!), and there are some numerous other additions i've heard of.
The best thing to do, of course, would be to download a trial version and see what it's like.

One of my more favored features is layers, but I really like alpha channels too. Really expands the possibilities really far, I like it. And no real performance slumps anymore for the most part.

Hey, that's really unfair. I don't have much money at all I plan to go out busking just to have some money for hobbies. I had to get MMF2 because I want to use it for my Final Year Project in college and MMF1.5 is far too unstable.
Plus it only cost me about 60 euros.

Im using mmf1.5 and i think its perfectly fine, We have all got by with it thus far. But as with everything, time progresses and better software pops up. I myself will buy it soon but am in no real hurry. I do like the idea using layers and can see some promising possibilites only capable with mmf2.

'MMF1.5 is far too unstable.'
Yes it is. Just about every game I made with it eventually got the "Crashes when you try to change the frame" bug which I could never fix. I kept restarting and restarting. Not to mention the inherent bugs in it anyway.

Is there any substantial reason that you haven't installed MMF2 yet? Just do it. Now.

Uhh, why would you buy it just to get an outdated TGF2 demo, when you can get the real thing?

Why is it that anyone that uses the word fucktard seems to both say "fuck" a lot and be socially retarded?
I was just pointing out a problem I was having with MMF on my hardware. Just because your configuration has not brought about that bug does not mean other people's configurations do not. Good software works on as many different configurations as possible. I bought MMF2 in the hope that I can get rid of all the niggling bugs(also, the "New object sticks to screen" bug).
