im trying to make an online game, i followed flavas tutorial and it works just brilliantly, the problem is:
i want to make the charcaters to be different from each other.
i dont want the "your player" char to be always blue and the "other player" to be always red.i want it to work just like most 2 on 2 games, where the first is always a different color than the second, and we would always see the other player as the color he really is in his computer, dont know if you got it.
i know i can use "dummys", like, have the red and blue object to act as invisible dummys and other "mask" objects, wich would be the player sprite to be always on the dummy x and y position, just like custom moviment.
please, any help would be higly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Just as you send data for a player's movement, direction and speed, send a value that corresponds to how your character looks, and wen this message is received, set the particular character to the correct animation, or however you have the characters set up.

MMF2 can now replace colors, so your character could replace a standard color with a color value sent over mooclick from the other computer.

Which raises up the question, why was it taken out in MMF2, only to be put back in?

Wasn't MMF2 rebuilt from scratch meaning that it wasn't really removed, just not yet implemented
