It'd be handy if someone could add a Preview feature to the DC.

Mainly with downloads, articles and previews. It'd be nice to see how they'll look before posting. So often I post something and find it's put a smiley in where I didn't want one.

Saves having to edit the stupid thing then go back to it again. It also leaves you the option to preview an article half finished, to see how it looks so far.

Yeah I've noticed that this is one of those sites where if I accidently refresh the screen, all the text I had written will be gone for good

Dunno think previews are kinda complicated to implement, not sure though

Thats weird, I hit the refresh button and all my text is still there, same with the back/forward buttons. Anyway, it shouldn't be that hard to add in, just make it so that you can edit the text at the same page you preview it, like Clickteam.

Yeah, or at least for articles. They always look so good in ASCII, but then when you post them, you realize the formatting's completely messed up

I think whether stuff is held in a textbox on refresh is dependant on your browser.

Yes, also, some tags so the type stays monospace and doesn't delete excess spaces. That way, ASCIIart is truly better.

does
 work?

Ooh, nevermind.
