Hi,
This is a little vid of my game, "The Orphanage". It is a top down shooter in the style of an FPS such as half life.
This clip of a warehouse firefight mainly showcases the game's AI, who are proficient in covering, flanking, flushing and rushing manouvers. This is made possible by the games line of sight/fog of war engine which eliminates unfair advantage in the player's favour by fading out enemies that are not in the players line of sight.
Also prominent is the decal engine which creates bullet holes, corpses, blood spatters etc. The warehouse started looking pretty neat and tidy didn't it? What a shame.
There is also part of the game's original soundtrack.

Impressive, as always. I like the player line-of-sight effect. Looks like it will make for very tense gameplay.

I LOVE that line of sight effect! I really wish I'd thought of that.
If wishes were fishes then we'd all smell like ladies' underwear.
