Are there any examples for MMF2, I want to pick one to bits, whats the latest one, who has made the one that is the one to look at. It should also finally give me an example of sprites being scaled under a controlled time, see my other post here.

Did you check out the Mutant Murder Mystic Ninja source?

There aren't many klik/MMF2 FPSs around really. Not many people know how to use the few 3D objects there are. I know how to use KlikOpenGL, but I'm rather shit at it, and besides, it's very limited and annoying to use anyway. I have a feeling it'd be much more rewarding to learn a real programming language, than trying to figure out how to do it in MMF, with all annoying bugs and limitations. Or just stick to your Gamemaker if you know how to use it well. Like someone here said earlier, MMF is easy to pick up, but hard to master.

There was that guy who made that 3D Chef game.. other than that, yeah not many people seem to use MMF2 for three dimensional games as that's not what its main focus is really..

You're better off using other software to save yourself the hassle - unless you want to be the first My site's MMOFPS is being coded in OpenGL I think.. or DX... na I'm sure its OpenGL..

If its specifically a first person shooter you want I suggest either that, or that dodgey FPS creator :\

Wasn't that chef game just made out of pre-rendered sprites? I haven't played it though. He may also have used the 3D sprite object, but that's not enough for making an entire FPS anyway.

But there's an Irrlich object coming for MMF2. I've heard it's currently on hold though. But seriously, if you want to do something really complex or advanced, learn a real language instead of struggling with MMF's limitations. MMF is good for 2D games, even really complex ones, but it just wasn't designed for making 3D games. That's what I think anyway.

I don't want it to make a 3d fps, I want it to look at certain other things.

If you are making a 3d shooter then mod one with an engine made for that, if its not a free game then license one they come at prices between 1.25 million USD the dearest I know, down to 100 USD for the cheapest, though I recommend going midway as the low end ones require so much extra code work for features you would do better than just to fork out say 25000 usd for a decent mid priced engine and save the arsing around adding stuff in, you save money in the long run, id give names of engines here but as they don't publicly name the costs I am not at liberty at saying who charges what and for what, I may have to do business at some stage and they will not appreciate me saying what they charge to license their tech.

So in a word, no I am not looking to click for a 3d engine, I still want to open up a game from someone that has tried though, specifically if they have tried to do it using sprites like the original wolfensien and duke nuke em type games, I also want to see if someone has made a sprite that can be scaled in a time frame, so I can get an answer to my other question on these boards and get a damm example of the most simplest of functions, a graphic growing or shrinking in size over a set time frame, ie it grows or shrinks and then stops, when I say it should.

so... you want a full 3D engine... and you don't want to do any work?

I'm having a bit of difficulty parsing your sentences, but I'm certain the example that everyone else mentioned demonstrates the features that you want to learn. And in MMF2 active objects are scalable at runtime anyway...
