Is there a way to make MMF2 detect a joystick attached to the computer? Better yet, is there a way to turn on force feedback (vibration) for that joystick? I could think of some interesting games to make with a vibrating joystick..

An extension that could work fluidly with a 360 wired controller would be excellent. 2 Vibration sources, analogue triggers etc. Pity it'll never be done.

I'm tempted to do one myself, but so few klikers have a vibration joystick that it's almost pointless. Besides, I don't even bother to finish most of my basic engines. Hmm... I just got an idea to do a full body suit with vibration, kinda to simulate punches, car bumps, planes, and especially FPSes.

The 360 pad is just a USB controller, is that right? If it is, I can't imagine it being very difficult to write a joypad object that could go through Windows' own joystick driver. I always have force feedback turned off, though, I can't stand it.

Muz, there was actually the RumbleVest or something like that for the original PS. Unfortunately it was rubbish.
