I've been lookin at C++ stuff thinking it looked kinda cool. I've got Dev Bloodshed C++ whatever, but don't really have a clue on how to use it. I've looked around for tutorials but havent found anything really good for me. I need a free tutorial that will introduce me to the ABSOLUTE basics of C++ ,and then eventually somthing a bit harder.
Many people on this site seem to have knowledge of C++ and some of them must of got that knowledge from places other than uni or $50 books on it. Can someone give me a kickarse tutorial for absolute noobs to C++.
Especially that.

There are loads of tutorials on the web, pick one, and go through the tutorials one by one from the beginning.

The cplusplus.com tutorial is pretty good.
If you ever want to get into 2D game-making in C++, then I warmly recommend the Allegro lib. SDL is also nice.

Dev-C++ is old. Use something new, like Code::Blocks.
About tutorials, use Google. You can buy a book too, then you know you have everything in one place at least.
