Ganymede Graphics Possibly Insane Registered 17/04/2006 Points 2711	28th January, 2007 at 07:10:26 - I've been lookin at C++ stuff thinking it looked kinda cool. I've got Dev Bloodshed C++ whatever, but don't really have a clue on how to use it. I've looked around for tutorials but havent found anything really good for me. I need a free tutorial that will introduce me to the ABSOLUTE basics of C++ ,and then eventually somthing a bit harder. Many people on this site seem to have knowledge of C++ and some of them must of got that knowledge from places other than uni or $50 books on it. Can someone give me a kickarse tutorial for absolute noobs to C++. Especially that.

axel Crazy? Registered 05/02/2005 Points 4766	28th January, 2007 at 12:14:30 - The cplusplus.com tutorial is pretty good. If you ever want to get into 2D game-making in C++, then I warmly recommend the Allegro lib. SDL is also nice. n/a

About tutorials, use Google. You can buy a book too, then you know you have everything in one place at least. Old member (~2004-2007).
