I'm trying to use a bunch of MP3s for background music in an app, and as of now I'm just using Direct show. I've come across several problems, though: The looping function in Direct show always places a substansial break in between loops, and when if the current MP3 in the main app reaches it's end while a sub-app is executed on top of the main app, the MP3 does not loop. Is there any way to fix these problems that anyone knows of, and if not, is there a better extension to use?

I'd probably just convert them to .ogg and go from there?

Ogg is really the way to go. There's less legalities to worry about and MMF2 sticks them all together in one big glorious .exe.
I really wouldn't know about .mp3s in MMF2.
