I'd be interested to see how this runs too. I'm not running Linux 'cuz of the lack of driver support but I'm open minded enough to try a new OS.

It doesn't work, since Wine won't properly emulate the registry entry of MMF2's registration. As for displays, MMF2 games run fine unless you try to change the resolution from within the game, as it crashes Wine.

The same goes for Darwine for Mac OS X -intel.

to be sure, you mean, games with display modes (standard/directx/directx+VRAM) and everything runs well only if they havent the 'change resolution mode' ON?

The demo works due to lack of registry entries needed for it to run. On Wine/Darwine, I get "MMF2 is not installed correctly. Please re-install it" meaning that it didn't find the entries.

MMF2Dev runs fine on Ubuntu Linux (edgy 6.10) using wine.
There might be some registry errors if you mess up with winecfg. (Drives section I think)
I might post screenies sometime

lol, Ubuntu: the system where things I use often are hidden, one can't use KDE and most software is not there unless you download it.

Anyway, will test on OpenSUSE sometime.
