Looks good. And as it says Animes going to the moon and back... and Americans are in the sand box. Not really. All anime animation sucks. Just cool Ideas and other junk.
that's some seriously fucked up shit...that reporter said something americans being stuck in a kiddie sandbox...i call that "down to earth" (down to sand?)... most japanese stuff i've seen is just plain weird and i don't get it.. i like a few japanese things like Trigun and Tenchi..those are some cool series...but stuff like this Paprika and Ghost In A Shell are just weird :S

oh - and EE - Paprika is paprika, both in english, danish and swedish
If you mean the spice paprika yes, but if you mean the "fruit" it's pepper (at least) according to my dictionary.

Omg O: I thought paprika was the same in english, but apparently, what you english fellas call paprika is some kind of weird spice thingie. E_E It probably doesn't even taste good.
"According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word comes from the Hungarian "paprika", which derives from the Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian "paprika", which is a diminutive of "papar", which in turn was derived from the Latin "piper", for "pepper.""
Go wikipedia!
"Paprika is a culinary seasoning made from dried ground capsicum. It is used in many cuisines to add colour and flavour to dishes."
Capsicum is the family of plants that peppers belong to. So basically paprika is ground peppers.
What is this? Some kind of vegetable-rascism?
In what way, is our homage to Paprika, or Peppers, or Capsicum an offense to the rules laid out by our humble administrators?
The topic is paprika, and by chance, the first comment involving paprika was about an anime with the same name. So the topic is clearly all kinds of paprika. If it was strictly prohibited to the anime the topic should have been "Paprika - The Anime".
Nuff said.

DaVince This fool just HAD to have a custom rating
Umm, anime is pretty much the same yeah. That's the whole point of it, it's basic enough that anyone with skill can be trained to draw it. Therefore it lacks individual flair and character. I can see that some anime may look pretty good and I can respect the time taken to draw it, but it just lacks something.

NARUTOT is so kawaii
Anime is all the same? I suppose all rock music sounds the same next. What a moronic statement to make, whether or not you like it the art style has so many variations and encompasses multitudes of ages and tastes. You have the shitty Shin Chan crap, Naruto and all that but you have the adult stuff too, like Akira and co. It's like classic all western cartoons as the same.
Hows your visually reminiscent Pokemon RPG coming along Noodle?
And for the inevitable backlash I'll get for this- I'm not much a fan of anime, but if it's a good film then I'll watch it.

Errrm I'm pretty sure it was originally about the anime. Just naming it paprika is more likely to catch peoples attention than "Paprika, THA ANIME!!!!!"Also people assume that once you look at the topic you'll realize that this is about what the first person said not necessarily what people stem off to. and I was just answering some dudes question when I stated that.
