Hello,
I know this has been posted before, but the info i found was old. Can anyone point in the direction 3d plugins for TGF2 that will alow me to make 3d games, even if its in a very limit fashion?
Thanks in advance,

Don't think there are any yet, for TGF2. There was an OpenGL extension for TGF1/MMF1, but it hasn't been ported yet or anything.

I didn't think TGF2 had extensions?
The only 3D i can think of is Mode7, or you can wait a while and hope the Irrlicht 3D object comes out.

Mode7 hasn't been ported either, has it? I guess we'll just have to sit on our hands and wait for the Irrlicht object (if it's in the works?)

Mode7 has been ported, but Irrlicht would be much sweeter.

So is Mode 7 only available in MMF2 or is it available for TGF2?

It is an extension that requires downloading. TGF2 won't let you do that. You've wasted your money, sorry. TFG2 is MMF2 without alpha channels or extensions.

The closest I get to 3D is using rendered 3d stuff, and FMVs ala railshooters.

Always loved those cheesy FMV shooters. Edited by the Author.

The perspective object can do a limited sort of pseudo 3D.

Yeah you can do some pretty nice shumps that way, especially now that there's sprite scaling!

Yeah, unfortunately TGF2 has no extension support, which is pretty lame. Better to shell out the extra 40 bucks next time... or some ammount in another currency, wherever you live.
I still don't know why they even bothered to make TGF2

...Don't give false encouragement.
I think you can upgrade to MMF2 for a low price if you own TGF2.
