I made this for the elevator sections of Hasslevania. The original is from the first NES Castlevania. I re-arranged some things and tried it by ear but it's mostly right.

Nice, but still lacks a bit of Muzakness in my opinion.

Any tips on what instrument to use? I immediately thought vibraphone but maybe there's a better one?

Haha, I like it. If I had one suggestion it would be to make the bassline a little more interesting, but I enjoyed it anyway. I think the vibraphone suits it well, too.

I didn't want to make it too complicated because my first thought was that if it was it wouldn't sound too much like elevator music. This is kind of wrong though, because the more I think of it some muzak is pretty complex- just crappy
This almost sounds more like what you'd hear while walking around a Krogers or Stop and Shop.
