I want to be able to open the controls window by an event, is that possible in MMF 1.5?

Doesn't seem like it. Make your own control setup, perhaps?

You could be silly and use control X to simulate keypresses of ctrl and Y, then a millisecond later, release them via Control X. But that could end up buggy, especially if the user is using control as an ingame key. Perhaps make the key just Y, and simulate that.

It's C for Phred's games, but that's still some kinda hack.

Ok, what about this? Is there any way to disable the control window? So it won't pop up when I press C in game? (You can disable the menu option, but it will still appear when you use the shortcut)

Set the shortcut key for it to 'nothing'.

He meant in run-time, DaVince.

Control-X can disable keys.

I think there's an extension that lets you use the menu functions. I'll see if I can find it.

Edit: http://www.bumderland.com/objects/
Get the Default Menu Options object.
