This is the best quality trailer I could get for my upcoming game, Hasslevania: The Quest for Shuteye. There are also smaller sized and lesser-quality files on the Hasslevania website if the 46 MB is too much.
The trailer is only 23 seconds long, and the real game looks a lot better than this, but I figure those with a great cable connection, a lotta' time, and some curiousity might want to check it out. There's a lot crammed into this gram, and I still couldn't include everything I wanted to.
Just let your imaginations go nuts and maybe you can see what this was SUPPOSED to look like, and again I appologize for the giant file size in advance
I would, but I don't have access to YouTube. My work doesn't allow for most fun sites, and my home computer is on ye olde 56K connection. I estimated that by the time I uploaded a 46 MB file at home, 1000 stars would have burnt out in the same time.
Maybe I can get somebody to slap it up there later, I'm new to video and the internets!

Youtube compresses the stuff anyway, so compress before you submit. Or proxy your way around the filter at work.
Orrr share your account with someone you trust for 1 day so that person can upload it, then change your password.
Weird, I got Phizzy's compressed file but I get no picture, only the sound. Do I need something other than the regular XP windows media player to view it?
Oh, and thank you in any case, what did you think Phizzy?

Oh and yeah the music is all MIDI Waffleton, sorry but I want to get the most out of my Midi Maker lol..
The music is pretty decent, and I'm only recycling like 3 out of 20 songs this time around. If I can come up with other good replacement tracks I will though.
The music heard for the trailer is the Title Screen music. I know the scenes flash by too quick towards the end- You might miss Rovert on the toilet w/ a newspaper or the Succubi Sisters but they're in there. And there was so much more I wanted to put in but didn't have the room! I guess it's good not to show everything, but you guys should know that this is my biggest click game. I think Captain of the Guard was before this one (love it or hate it, although the two games are totally different).

Nice trailer! He seems to have quite a bizarre running animation, but apart from that it looks very nice indeed! It doesn't give a lot away, but that's probably a good thing - you don't want the trailer to ruin any surprises.
This looks like its going to be one of the games that are good in this site at the daily click because I think it looks like a good fun time to be having playing the game Hasslevania.

Yeah, it actually looks kind of heroic, the way Rovert runs around. It is pretty different, I think I'm just used to it by now I'm very happy with the animations I've done this time around, as opposed to some that were not as good in my other games. Rovert has a bunch of different animations that consist of way more frames than most of my other heroes combined. Each weapon has it's own animation and attack too, and this time they VARY from each other, so there'll be no more Captain of the Guard's infamous "appearing sword". Hey, at least I took player criticism and did something with it, right?

Yep, there was a lot of things my friend wanted to put in there that he thought was cool but I vetoed because I thought they gave too much away.

That's my hope as well! I always wanted to make one of those "Click Classics" that everyone knows by name and talks about months later. Unfortunately I always misjudge how player reaction will be, and games that I thought would do great up here at TDC almost always don't. I'm going to try to not have too high expectations this time around. (But I still hope this will be a Click Classic, who doesn't want that for their game anyway?)
I just made a moat monster for it last night, there will be variety, if nothing else!
