I found this AWESOME new music studio. It supports VSTs, effects, filters, samples... and has a tracker-like interface. This means that you can use all this cool stuff almost right away if you've ever used something like Modplug Tracker or Impulse Tracker.
Best of all, it's freeware, even open-source.
So I recommend you people to check it out sometime! I love the program so far.

I have just found out you can perfectly import modules in it and get wild with all kinds of effects, or even add to it using some Psycle instruments/VSTs/whatever! This is really great, especially to remaster your modules, apparently.
It certainly sounds good. Some screenshots would be nice, but what the hell. Downloading...

Screenshots? 'Kay.
This is where you can bind "machines" to the master output. Machines can be sound generators, effects, samplers (audio sample readers), VSTs... You can bind sound-generating machines to effect machines to apply that effect to those machines.
The pattern editor. There are just patterns, channels... Everything you would be used to in MPT. Except you use machines to generate the sound.
Yeah, I like the whole machine thing, and the way you can control the plugins like that. I'm not very keen on the rest of the interface though. Or maybe it's just because I'm not used to it. Definitely a nice tool for mastering/mixing modules though!
It's certainly got potential. But maybe I'm ignorant... but if you can import module files, why can you only save the final products as .wav files?

The program is not intended for making modules, but you're able to import them. You can save as the Psycle native file format - .psy.
Exporting to different formats is still on the to do list I believe, since the whole program is still WIP.
