I can't think of a reason why brainstorm would be un-PC.
What about machine gun type weapon (rapid fire), a weapon which requires charge up, double bullets, triple bullets, heat seekers, missiles, bombs (which drop down instead of being fired straight ahead).
How about a biocell launcher? It launches lumber at your opponent.
How about some kind of weapon that uses ultrasound to take out your opponents navigation system?
How about some beam that turn your opponents ship magnetic attracting other ships, missiles and asteroids?
How about some kind of rocketpowered knives that just pierces throug your opponent?
I noticed that most space wars games ussually don't have any weapons in a gasious form. You could call that your thing. Some kind of gas that causes your opponents ship to burn if he stays in it too long. That would be cool.
Also, some kind of weapon that can catch your opponent in an inpentrable bubble? Once you have caught one opponent you can fire other weapons on it and make it destroy other ships.
Also, can this be one of the game where you can stop your ship, climb out in your suit and place bombs on other ships? Those games are ussually awesome!
And just for the sake of it, you should also be able to throw litter at your oppenent.
