"I hate pidign because it's a stupid name, I like the name "GAim". "
So you refuse to use a newer version of a program because its name had to change? What kind of reason is that? I would have understood "because I have problems with the new version", but... "lol the name sucks"? Then stop using Ubuntu.

What if Ubuntu was renamed?
That's my point. A product improves, yet you do not switch to the improved product because its name changed.

I'm actually happy with the new name.
Still, it's just a name. At least it isn't called "Shithead" (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=58d_1186414514)
I actually like working in the terminal.

Can you get mmf2 games to work with linux? I know you have wine and stuff, but does it work? is it slow?

MMF and MMF2 games work for me. Speed is acceptable. Sound works fine. Sound using extensions like ModFX will cause tons of glitchy sounds after a few minutes, though.

MMF 1.5 doesn't seem to work on Vista. It just freezes on the loading splash.

Yeah, I think Clickteam mentioned that it's outdated for Vista and probably won't work on it.

It's easy to bash vista, it happened with Win98, it happened with XP and it will happen with whatever will go next.

Probably only when it comes to Windows, since they always disappoint with a bunch of useless crap everyone will just get used to.
