One of my neigbour's Pigeons was taken down on our lawn this morning
EDIT: I remembered it was a sparrow hawk by watching the Animals of Farthing wood. Damn that cartoon was educational

Your garden looks like it could be quite big...
Anyways we have murders committed quite frequently in our garden by our very own resident sparrowhawk. We fear sometimes for our pet rabbit.

The Field of View seems very zoomed in. He's taking the picture from a good distance away.

We could do with a sparrow hawk around my estate. Bloody pigeons everywhere.

Are Pigeons really small around your area or is that a huge sparrow hawk?
I don't know much about the size of those.
Maybe pigeons are just really fat around my estate.

Pidge go BOOM!
I watch prarie dogs get nailed by hawks and foxes all the time out the back of my apartment.

Prarie dogs. I actually thought when I made the post "If shab sees this I bet he mentions that a lot of prarie dogs are killed near him". Kinda weird

We don't get anything like that here, foxes and the likes. You get a few sheep getting gutted and other mad stuff like that up on the moors, it's a bit messy actually. I have a pic in my iPhoto library that I'll put up once I reboot into OSX. Not pleasant mind - it's missing an eye and half it's face. It was fresh too!
