Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Metallica - Metallica (Black Album)
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

Those are albums I loved while I grew up with them and I still listen to them today.

Blur- Parklife

Pavement- Slanted and Enchanted

The Pink Floyd- Piper at the Gates of Dawn

The Cure- Disintegration

The Kinks- Arthur or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire

Radiohead- Kid A

Velvet Underground- and Nico

The Smiths- The Queen is Dead

Each one is a brilliant and rewarding listen. And I agree about Demon Days, great album, gets the balance between focus and variety down perfectly.

I've always loved this beauty, some of my favorite Funeral Doom metal.
I also thought Deathspell Omega's "Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum" was an incredible album, even though the lyrics are extremely well written I dislike it how they glorify Satan.

I dunno about Disintegration being my favorite Cure album. I mean, sure there are some awesome songs from it but I almost like Wish better. I think it's a more solid effort. I know I'm in the 2% who think so though.

Plus it just seemed to me like a lot of songs off of Disintegration were the same 3 or 4 chords going on forever. I know that's nothing new for The Cure's music but still..

But he wasn't, others were.
(LOL at vegetarian argument, btw. Hiding behind something entirely unrelated is a bad argument.)

Let's get back on topic, the flow of the topic is starting to make me sad.

@ Del Duio: I dunno, I guess I've never really liked Wish that much, I find that the songs all go on a bit too long, like it worked on disintegration because the songs were meant to be long, but on Wish they feel like short pop songs stretched out a bit. I tend to like The Cure's albums when they're more singular and cohesive works, Seventeen Seconds would probably be my next favourite. That said, after I saw them in concert I appreciated Wish a bit more, the songs like 'Open' and 'From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea' work really well live.

Meteora by Linkin Park kept me intertained for a long time.

Minutes to Midnight is very cool also.

can't be too sure, so many good bands and so many good albums...

I'd say "Sonhando Com a Musica" by Nova Dinastia ([{My Band}]) is the best by far
