Sitesled finally revived again after being dead for at least two weeks. But when I tried logging on to access my account, it was removed from the database! I've endured putting up with their regular crashes, but this is the last straw.
For those of you who don't know what SiteSled is, it's a very unreliable webhost which you shouldn't use. If you do have a sitesled account, I implore you to move to a more reliable host.
Spread the word, and tell your friends that SITESLED SUCKS! And tell your friends to carry the message!
At college we had to build a website and get a domain + webspace all set up as part of our assignment. I searched for a good bit 'o time and fuitadnet was the cheapest I found...
They only charge me like, less than £5 each month tho. It's great value for what you get I think. Cheap, cheap, cheap!

Sitesled was good, but it turned pretty sucky over time. I don't know any other good free host, because I have my own niche on someone else's paid spot right now.
Upside:
Easy to add new files
Easy to maintain
Easy to set up
Free* hosting!
Downside:
Computer has to be connected to the internet + Apache has to be turned on for website to be active.
Download speeds are dependent on your internet upload speeds. Therefore don't host big files.
*By free i mean that the only costs are internet fees and electricity bills etc.
It's pretty simple to set up, there are even some packages out there which combine php and apache, along with MySql and even an ftp/mail server.
