Does MMF2 support this format? If not, is it possible that someday it does? So, I hope that someone makes an extension, which can play it. Edited by the Author.

If it's compatible with other MOD formats (IT, XM, MOD etc) it should work.
If not you will have to wait for the sound filter SDK.

It can play mo3 because it uses bass.dll. Any extension using bass.dll will probably be able to play MO3.

So what about modfx3 that either comes with mmf2 or comes with one of the official bonus packs? does that play it?

Try it? I don't think it would work unless ModFX supports compressed module music...

Onu (MMF2) and ModFusion/ModFX support the WSF format, which can use modules with compressed samples as OGGs... essentially MO3. A WSF converter and more will be included in the next release of Onu (coming soon).

Clever. Just Clever. I prefer the WTF alternative extension, though. Hehe.
At any rate, yes, that's what it is, although in retrospect it's more of just a container format. The actual song data etc is still whatever module format you wrote it in. (:
