I made platform custom moement and could never figure out how to make the ladder. I only ended up with the standed spring, and left/right moving platform.
But if I look back now you should just be able to disable the [Gravity Events] and enable the [Ladder Events] when you are (overlapping the ladder and press up/down).
You have to create backdrop object and change it's obstacle type into backdrop. I succest you read clickteam products tutorial/help thing, before asking this kind of questions.
I have proven new mathematic formula to be true...
Did you mean Create a backdrop object and change it to 'Ladder'?
I don't think fish 20 is using the default platform movement. So it might not work properly.
I got info from the example file. It should have went over that.
All your base are in another castle, take this.

You can use active objects to indicate where there's a ladder, just the same as using objects to indicate where there would be water in a game, or a death zone, or special areas like that.
I thought you could use the colision mask conditions in the default Story Board object to see which pixels are ladders or obstacles?

You don't get it; the object IS the ladder (or "ladder controller" with other obstructionless objects for the graphics), and when you touch it it could start behaving like a ladder in any way you like.
I maid a ladder in my game by disabaling the platform movement when you are overlaping the ladder and pressing up. Then I just manualy move the player bounding box up or down depending on witch direction the player is holding. When he gets to the top/bottom or presses the jump button I just re-enable the platform movement.
Duse that help?

I do get it. The object doesnt let me MOVE on the ladder. Keyword MOVE.
