I'm raising money to build a new Core 2 Duo machine. Luckily, I don't really need that much money as I already have the HDD, RAM, KB, Mouse, Monitor, and cables from my last one. So, I'm selling my beloved PowerBook G4. Don't worry, I still have a LifeBook, MacBook, other powerbook, other-other powerbook, and a few dells.
They sell for much more. Fully broken ones in shit condition usually go for about 300 USD. You should be blaming Camera Flash + Anodized Aluminum. It's hardly dirty at all; that's what camera flash does. Try it.
Office must take years to start up on that machine O_o. I'm sure someone will bid on it, just because they can most likely . (By smallest do you mean screen size or volume? Because the new MacBook Air thingy is uber thin)
I'm still using my 12" PB 'cuz that keyboard is probably the best I've used. Great for documents and it flies when Leopard is installed.
There's little speed difference in some application boot times compared to my C2D machine. I even edited a 720p short film on one. G4's, whilst stupidly hot where very good CPUs. My 1.5ghz model ran Photoshop CS minutely faster than my P4 3ghz.
