So last night, there I was. Minding my own business. Just makin' a game, workin' on some sprites. I made a few more frames and readied them for editing. All was right in the world. Suddenly, I thought of another idea, and added a frame for it. Alas, it was past midnight, so I saved work on that frame for the next day.
So today, I pull up my new frame. I go to make a new active object and... what the? My color palette was all messed up. Most of the colors had been replaced with almost-black (8,0,0); only about 16 non-blacks remained. Bizarre. So I thought, "Hm, maybe for some reason my rapid creation of frames caused this?" So I checked every other frame I had made. They were all fine. "Alright, then. I'll just wipe this frame and make a new one." Not so, young one. The new frame also had a screwed up color palette (slightly different, but still unuseable). So I tried another frame... and another... nothing. They were all messed up.
Long story short: Every new frame I make as of 12:30 this morning has a messed-up color palette. What's wrong and how do I fix it? (I'm using MMF2 Dev, build 246; I can't upgrade because my DVD drive isn't reading the MMF2 CD.)
Yeah, I restarted my computer which didn't work. And I can't re-install MMF2 because the DVD drive isn't reading the CD, yet it reads everything else. Go figure.
As for manually selecting the color palette, I thought about that but I can't find the palette anywhere. Where is it?
