Angus Young from ACDC, one of the greats of guitar. May ACDC live forever The guitar and the fingers turned out to be a bit simple but oh well. Its meant to be a tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time.
the only thing i dont like about these is that you put some good texture and detail on some parts like the hair background shirt etc. but then the face and hands look like they were drawn in paint.
lol, why would a rapper have a guitar in his hands? he's a guitarist. The guitarist, in fact, from ACDC...
Thank you Rikus; plus, I thought a topic had to be old to be bumped. n yeah, i think the hands and the face dont look quite as good as the rest but im still not very good at coloring skin thanks for the positive comments guys.
You can't both have a strongly shaded body and flat face and hands. You need to be consistent with the style, or else it will look rather unfinished as in this case.
Judging from your body shading, the light source is coming straight from the front. Try to imagine how this direction of light would affect the face shading. Try to begin with doing similar as you did with the arms - shade the outlining of the face.
My final tip though would be to try to draw other light source angles. "Camera flash light" is boring as hell
Your thread was getting at the bottom of the list because it didn't have any reply for 2 days and you bumped it, it's a fact.
The problem is by bumping your thread you are not respecting the other users who would like some replies in their threads too.
wtf? respecting other users?? I am disrespecting others by posting??? If people think I have disrespected them just by posting, then, in my opinion, they are a tad too sensitive. No disrespect meant there; just expressing my view.
Throughout my time here, i have never said anything that can be seen as disrespectful to other members. while it is true that i dont post as often as many others do, but i still always leave encouraging comments. i certainly meant no bloody disrespect to anyone.
take it easy dude by saying your not respecting the other users when you bump your thread I didn't say it's like insulting someone, it just isn't a very ethical thing to do.
