Hey, Im using TGF1, and I dont like the ingame transitions. Is there any way I can have a transition that actually looks like a fade, and not these half-butted ones the program comes with?

You could use the image morphing tool to create a fade yourself, very easy to do. Shame they had to remove that feature from TGF2/MMF2

If you wanted to fade from background could you not use the Set transparency bit in the event editor? From a colour you'll probably have to use Slink/Bumps method.

Frame fade out/ins are easy. Just create an object that moves up or down through its transparency.

But can you do that in TGF1?

I don't think you can change the ink effects etc in events for TGF1

I'm pretty sure you can do that in TGF1... change transparancy that is... though I don't think it can be done in runtime... only in the design window.

Also, with the morphing thing... does anyone know why they took that out? I still use TGF1 to make active objects with morphs then import them into MMF2. It's kind of silly that this feature has been removed!

What's wrong with pillow shading? O.o
