Im having trouble. Im making a player follow an object connected to the mouse. the player using a bouncing ball movement. the player is in a maze. the player gets stuck if he touches a wall and uses the stop or bounce conditions. so i decided that the cursor needs to stop when it hits a backdrop . So i went into the events and saw that there was no stop action for the built in mouse movement or custom mouse movemenet. How do i make the mouse following object stop when it hits a backdrop?

If it helps, anything with a ball movement won't stop when you tell it to "Stop Movement" in an event, I don't know why. I've had to make the object's maximum speed = 0 in order for it to come to a complete stop before. If you do this, you could use one of the object's alt variables as its speed to change back to when you want.

Hope that helps.
