Hello there,
I used to be somewhat active here a long time ago (or at least, actively lurking), back in the days of MMF1.5. I was quite interested in multiplayer game development specifically, and I managed to write a few (working-but-incomplete) multiplayer shooter thingies, complete with a the host/join room list you tend see in real multiplayer games... damn, that took a lot of work for a noob like me LOL. So I was bored, checked out the Clickteam site, and found out that MMF2 was released.

Okay, so anyway... My question is, is MMF2 worth it? How is it improved over MMF1.5? (Does it suck less? LOL *hides*) Does the runtime have any worthwhile performance optimizations? (I recall MMF1.5 producing resource hog apps.) Are there any new major features and capabilities, or is it little more than a re-branded MMF1.5 build (120?). Did they finally update the buggy as hell MooClick extension? Is MooGame dead?

It's awesome that this community is still alive, haha. I don't know if I'll actually return to messing around with MMF, as I've kind of taken a liking to .NET programming. I'm still curious, though!

MMF2 is extremely stable compared to 1.5, like Antworx I haven't had a crash yet. Though I do think the Ok and Cancel buttons on the image editor are a little too close together.

Agreed Dr. James - I however have had a few crashes but i put that down to stupid mistakes on my part and also too many apps runing at once. Think i need to format my PC TBH

ive had one or two random crashes before and the odd bad object, but since ive had it over a year now i say thats pretty damn stable.

There still isn't much difference between mmf1.5 and mmf2 at the moment but mmf2 is still improving.
