I've been inspired to add cheats/easter eggs/secrets in my games just by reading about it here A section for them would be pretty cool. I see it being good for walkthroughs, too!
No but seriously walkthroughs and cheats in that kind of section would be very useful. Especially if there was a link to the section on each games downloads page. And whilst your at it give the dev a chance to link to their project page once a game is complete. Incase anyone wants to look up how the finished game progressed.
I really don't see the point in it...I really doubt that many people even bother putting cheats and things in their games. I mean, are there even enough click games with cheats and easter eggs to make a whole new section for?
Okay, so when was the last time I saw someone discussing any cheats in any click game?... That's right, I don't. Really don't think it's worth a whole new section... Someone's idea for an abandoned ideas section would have been more useful. People hardly even bother putting cheats in click games nowadays. I really think a general poll (WHICH NEEDS CHANGING BY THE WAY) should decide this, before it becomes a waste of space.
We already have an abandoned section......it's called projects . no seriously i think a cheats section would be pretty cool and the abandoned section would be nice too.
Frankly my dead I think it'd be great to get a giant graphical overhaul to the site with the downloads page split into; Full games, Demos and Abandoned (with fancy web 2 style graphics). Maybe add in a software section where apps, screensavers could go too.
