I have a problem with the scrolling routine in Vista. I am using Multimedia Fusion 1.5 (build 119)

Some people have suggested I go back to XP OS but I'll try to explain the problem anyway.

If I press the play button in the top bar (next to step through events) the scrolling works fine but... if I run the application or current frame (I only have one) then only the top half of the screen is displayed (I have no idea why this happens) although the positioning of objects is correct. The main character moves instead of the background objects around it (doesn't scroll)... incompatibility?!

Signing off, Dave S.

Does Vista have the "compatibility mode" that XP had? I don't know if it does, but you should try. In XP, it was in the properties dialog when you right-click the game. Then under the compatibility tab. No clue otherwise what to do, I'm sure it's Vista.

Could you send me the file? I have Vista 64bit and Ive never seen that problem before. In fact the only problem Ive ever had from xp to vista in click games is refusal to go fullscreen. That could be a graphics card issue anyway.

If you don't use any mmf1.5 only extensions you could try asking someone to compile the final game in mmf2 if the problem persists.
