I've had some times were I didn't bother checking in TDC, sometimes for months and sometimes just weeks. But I never really left. This is clearly one of my favorite sites seeing as I've been a member since 2002. How shamefull that I've barely contributed anything to it though.
This website needs a new section dedicated to goodbye topics.
Don't aim for perfection- you'll miss the deadline

I've left the community once after finding that I could make games faster in C++. But then I realized that making a GUI isn't as easy than in Klik. Heck, with programs like E++, making text-based stuff isn't half the burden it used to be.
I also wanted to become a novelist, but that didn't work out. Besides, the lure of kliking is just too strong. When you don't klik, you just get this sudden urge one day to make games again, and that just keeps pulling you back in.
I wonder what happened to ShadowCaster though. I don't even see him on MSNM lately.
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
Well, i never left, but only been active here about a month or two. I do plan to leave thought. But I will still make games, I always make games. Before that I only looked at articles and forums for coding help.
I have followed this site since 2000 or so, but I didn't start making any games until 2002, I made about 3 little games that weren't very good, then I gave up on games sometime in 2004, stopped visiting in 2005 or so, checking every few months between then and now, and now I'm back, wanting to make new games, as a new member!

Except when you were not active because you protested on Phizzy's ban.
BTW what do you intend to do now that he has been deleted?
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
