Wow, that is pretty old! Off the top of my head, MechCommander 1 would run alright on your laptop, but you probably won't be able to zoom in because it'll get choppy.
I used to play Subspace (continuum). I just don't like how you have to spend ages flying around collecting the green powerup cubes before you even stand a chance in a dogfight. That kind of ruins it for me.
Do you know what, and i'm not making this up, i was gonna make an online asteroids style game and i only thought about doing it about an hour ago. Then i see this. And now i ain't gonna bother! I don't wanna re-make someone else's game
