I'ma come out and say it. I've never even touched Moosock or Moogame. Thing is, I've got this small laptop with a broken screen. I removed the bezel, and decided to use it for some interesting stuff. Aside from sound games and walkie talkies and the like, I had an inspiration. What about controlling the keyboard and mouse of my desktop computer with its keyboard and trackpoint? So... What's the best way to go about doing this? >_O I had a number of ideas, but figured that the easiest way would be to get some opinions. I've done some chat applications before, but they didn't even touch the moo extensions and were inefficient. And another thing, if I use Moosock or Moogame or whatever, I will be able to send info over an ad-hoc wireless network without internet, right?

I'm pretty much sure you need Internet, but I may be wrong!

MOO stands for Multiplayer Online Object ( I think lol), where the ONLINE probably means "You need internet for this thing to work"

Well "online" can be referred to a network and a local network would all you would need. Seeing that you have access to get on to TDC then I would say that you have that part solved already.

Well, I won't always have access. I use an old laptop as my wifi AP and it's not always on.

I suppose I ought to actually try to use Moo, since I haven't even seen if the setup will be easy and obvious yet.
