Have to get the MMF2 versions of the extensions. They're different things, if I'm not mistaken. There's no converter or something of the sort for it.

You have to put then in a folder called "mmf1" in the MMF2 extensions folder. Then you have to find an MMF2 equivalent and move the actions over to that object in the event editor. Then you delete all references to that object. If there isn't an MMF2 equivalent, then you can't use it.

MMF1 (or rather 1.5) is a weaker, more unstable program than MMF2. As of yet, MMF1 still has more extensions though, since all of them haven't been ported to MMF2 yet.

You don't really need most of the extensions that have yet to be ported. Except maybe the Strategy object. Other than that, I find that most things are available with MMF2.

What extensions do you need, DakaSha?

All the cool ones are already in MMF2

Except the Strategy object.

All the mainstream extensions have already been ported, its only odd trinkets that haven't gotten moved over. After all, who needs something like the global strings object in MMF2, besides for backwards compatibility with TGF games? If theres awesome sounding extensions for MMF1, they've probably been ported to MMF2 already. If they haven't, they probably weren't very 'awesome'. But people are still working on porting more and more extensions over, one at a time. If you have any suggestions for ones that should be remade for MMF2, we'd all like to hear

if ur looking at random extensions and want to know if they will work in MMF2 as well, check this list:
http://clickteam.info/neatwares/extensions/

theres many extensions that exist in MMF2 that do not exist in MMF1, and they tend to be.... cooler.
