Anyone against that, especially when there's no progress? Sometimes it's good to just write something related to the idea, despite not having serious progress.. like when I get a good idea but am not sure how to go around it. Normally people on other sites with devlogs don't really mind at all (in fact, most encourage it), but here, it seems like everyone's picky if you bump their project down
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
I think it's good form really, just like back at my college they encouraged you to jot down all your ideas to show where the final product came from. I like seeing that journey move from sketches to (hopefully) a well executed idea apart of a larger project.
I don't feel comfortable doing that myself here without throwing a screenshot in there too
So long as it's something interesting and important to game, and not just some minor decision akin to "which dress should I wear" then it's all good.
