I remember thinking Eternal Daughter was stupid when it was announced because it "stole" the word Eternal, which was mine for my upcoming RPG, Eternal Saga. (Been a project of mine since K&P! Someday I'll make it!)
So they pick on folk and their projects yet they claim to be the mature, smart ones
- I remember Ashman being made admin of KA for a week.
- Everything about the old MSN Gamemakers group (what fun that was, Sparckmans on my Facebook now too, funny how stuff works like that)
- Terminal Orbit, Surface Runoff and Deserted (IIRC)
- Dines' ultra wise help.
- Not being allowed to mention the word Mac without the most epic of flamewars.
- Petes TGF Zone and that randomly generated shmup he made (what did happen to him?).
- My KnP serial number off by heart.
- Lunchbox's school based RPG (biographical RPG years before Jonny RPG).
Damn, I remember a lot of things I don't want to remember.
- When #k&p was very active
- When The_Antisony created #tdc
- When I got bored one day, a few years after #tdc was founded, spam advertised it, and made it into a major klik chan in a few weeks. The_Antisony called me the chan's co-founder because of that
- When TDC was just a cheesy site that wanted to clone Click Cafe
- When I thought that KNP had a good graphics editor.
- All the various idiots popping in and out, lolollol-ing at TDC.. and now they're gone
- Promoting DeathReaperX's game for GOTW. Damn, he was one of the most interesting people I've known online
- ShadowCaster being active on TDC and #k&p, with his random front page posts, pro-establishment behavior, and interesting ideas. He also wrote me my first recommendation letter
- When I quit the community and kliking to write a novel and some people made a fuss about it.
- I remember when Blackeye Software scrapped Trigger Happy 2 and suddenly redesigned the website, dedicated to Eternal Daughter. Me and all the other Blackeye fanatics thought that they had gone insane.
- I remember using Blackeye's abandoned Meatbone engine, touching up some of the broken code, and releasing a functioning engine in a day or so. I learned about 20% of all the klik knowledge I have now from touching up Meatbone, which was why I'm so insistent that newbies learn from open source code.
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
You know, I don't really remember a lot. Which is bad because ive been a member quite a long time now...
I do remember the first game i ever played on TDC though, i can't remember it's name but it was a cartoony side scrolling platformer that was too much for my old pc, so it ran really slow.

I remember when it felt more special to have your game on the front page of TDC (Probably because they updated less )
There are FAR too many updates on the main page. In my opinion it should be updated once or twice a week. At the moment it's getting updated daily, that's just ridiculous.
