I like crisps. My favourite flavour is beef and onion. I am also partial to ready salted, salt n vinegar and roast chicken. What is your favourite crisp flavour?
I'd have to say salt and vinegar. But nothing could compare to the homemade crisps I make! The trick is, they're not actually made from potato.
Step 1: Grab some pita bread (or "flatbread", as some like to call it"), and cut it into little shapes (these can be any shapes you like, I sometimes make little stickmen).
Step 2: Sprinkle some flavour on each piece. I use either Garlic & Herb Salt or Barbeque. You can usually find these in the "herb" section of your local supermarket.
Step 3: Place the pieces onto a tray and cook them in your oven for about 5-10 minutes at 180 degrees c.
Step 4: Once they are fairly crisp, take them out, sprinkle a little bit of salt on each one and voila! A tasty snack!
Pita bread is good because when it cooks, it goes crispy and thin, just like a potato chip.
You can infact put a few drops of vinegar on once they are cooked, for a salt and vinegar flavour!
I'm eating crisps right now! I love all sorts of flavors, from regular to ruffles to barbecue to tortilla... (and cheese dip) As long as it's not cheese flavored or baked. (Which is odd, because I LOVE cheese.)
The best snack in the world... small curd cottage cheese and plain potato crisps. It's an old family recipe. You can mix them together or dip them. TASTYMOLA! Try it. Seriously. Try it naoughw.
Funny you should mention this! Yesterday I was out shopping with my mum and one of my brothers, and we were invited to attend a walker's crisp tasting session, in which we had to fill out surveys on the crisps we sampled. We said no to it though
Just one pipe? One pipe is a standard portion in our house!
Pringles went right off when they started messing about with the flavours and taking all the salt out. Crisps are supposed to be unhealthy, why do they insist on trying to make them better for you?
Soon all treats will be so healthy that they're indistinguishable from normal food.
PS I also like Alan Hansen.
PPS Mark Lawrenson is a tool.
Oh, yea... I like cooler ranch doritos too. I don't like the low-fat "healthy" pringles. I wants me unhealthy salty pringles! >:| And nunnathat "baked" stuff either. Nasty.
When I went to South Korea they had these prawn chips that were really tasty
And these other things called Jolly Pong that were like chilli flavoured Ferrero Rocher's.
Pom Baer are absolute genius. First you bite the arms off, then the legs, then the head, then the torso. Makes a packet of crisps last four times as long.
