I feel like a n00b posting this... >_>
Anywho, is there any way to play MP3's in TGF1 and have the MP3 be internal? >_O I know people always say to use MCI or DMC, but I don't want the music to be accessible by the user. ;__; I could conceivably convert them to WAV... but that would make the file size skyrocket and the loading would take ages. :\

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure there is no way.

Nope. The answer is nope. The only way to play MP3s in TGF1 is to use extensions, and as far as I know, using extensions means that there is no way for it (the MP3) to be internal to the executable. Of course, since you have TGF2, you could convert them to OGG and play them, or wait for Clickteam to (never) finish the MP3 sound filters and play them internally that way. If you do it the TGF2 way, then you'll end up doing all the music stuff in your game last, by just quickly opening the source in TGF2, loading in the music, then compiling it.

TGF2 doesn't support .ogg, MMF2 does though.

I appreciate the offer, we'll see what happens. You do have MMF2, right Jon? I don't want to compile in TGF2 because it has that splash screen at the end and I'm not entitled to sell my products with it. Or, at least, I don't think I am. O_o But the splash screen is reason enough.
Maybe I'll see how crappy it works as a WAV... it may not be too bad.
Thanks for the replies, guys!

You're welcome. Yes, I do have MMF2, so you would be able to sell the game, as long as you include that "Created with Multimedia Fusion 2" logo somewhere in the game. No splash screen.

You could possibly encrypt the object and un-encrypt it at runtime so its only an mp3 whilst the program is running?
