All the dialog in my game is of course not dubbed. But to make battles a littlebit more "realistic" i want to include some sounds like screaming, like an *ugh* when somebody dies.
But wouldnt this be totaly silly? you never hear the voice of the character when they speak but if they die or attack or are falling or something you hear them scream.......
All depends on how well the game was themed to match something like that, and how well the voice acting was to accommodate the theme of the game that potentially matches it. Really, you need to have both for it to work well because one without the other is an easy formula for being silly, pathetic, or just annoying.
