Yup, it's quite ignorant to say that. It's a general statement like "games suck", just because you've heard of a few bad ones on TV and newspaper. Plenty of different types of wrestling - that melodramatic, fake WWE isn't the half of it.
And what's worse is that you're saying it in front of a group of people who like it. Not very polite.
